Concussion Comeback

Psychological support to get you back to living your life… from someone who has been through it too.

Concussions can leave you feeling frustrated, hopeless, isolated and overwhelmed. But there are solutions.

I provide different options for concussion support: group, individual and online education.

Group Coaching

What it is:

  • 5-week guided program (starting early May)

  • Weekly sessions focused on regulation, symptom management, and rebuilding capacity

  • Practical tools + clear weekly direction (not just education)

  • Small group navigating persistent symptoms

Best for you if:

  • You’re 1+ month post-concussion and still not where you want to be

  • You feel stuck in the “in-between” (not injured, but not fully yourself)

  • You want structure, accountability, and momentum

  • You value being around others who understand the pressure to “get back”

Individual Therapy

What it is:

  • Personalized sessions integrating mental health + performance

  • Focus on nervous system regulation, anxiety, identity, and confidence

  • Tailored strategies based on your symptoms, lifestyle, and goals

  • Led by someone who understands both the science and lived experience

Best for you if:

  • Your symptoms feel complex, persistent, or unpredictable

  • You’re dealing with anxiety, frustration, or loss of identity

  • You want a clear, individualized plan

  • You’re ready to actively work toward feeling like yourself again

Online Education

Launching Mid 2026

What it is:

  • Self-paced course on concussion recovery + mental health

  • Simple, science-backed explanations of what’s actually happening

  • Practical tools to support your recovery day-to-day

Best for you if:

  • You want to understand your symptoms and stop second-guessing

  • You prefer learning at your own pace

  • You’re early in your recovery or want a strong foundation

I no longer wish my concussion never happened…..

I still struggle to put into words how challenging yet profound my concussion recovery has been. It has been a wild 5 years of emotional fragility, confusion, identity changes and overall shift in my entire outlook and approach to life. Despite the frustrations, the heart aches, the moments of helplessness, I wouldn’t trade it in.

Through a consistent approach to my inner world, I went from a state of complete loss and helplessness to genuinely feeling like my true self (and riding my bike/moving my body daily!)

My concussion does not define me, but it has greatly shaped who I am today. I’d love to share my learnings with you.

Skills you can learn to move forward

  • One very challenging aspects of concussion recovery is the uncertainty of the process. Psychological flexibility allows you to feel grounded throughout the up's and down's of recovery, while still staying committed to what matters.

  • Being out of your daily life is very challenging - especially when your injury is "invisible". The feeling of "losing” your identity is destabilizing and all consuming. Together, we can rewrite your concussion story.

  • We explore how to regulate your mind and body to best facilitate a full recovery. You will learn to work with your body, not against it.

  • Together we can safely address and explore the feelings of isolation, frustration, anxiety and overwhelm.

  • My goal is to not only get you back into your regular lifestyle (including sport) but to help you grow from this experience. In our sessions together we will identify external resources (support, education) and build build your internal resources, to help you get back to the life you desire.
