MST is a specialized service that helps individuals, teams, and organizations optimize their mental skills and mindset to enhance performance. I utilize psychological modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Training, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behaviour techniques and neuroscience to help athletes get their most of their sporting experience. Some examples of mental skills are confidence, motivation, emotional regulation and attentional control (focus). There are many techniques to develop these skills. I select relevant techniques based on the athletes situation, goals and strengths. Think of it like taking your mind to the gym with a personal trainer.

Everyone can benefit from mental skills training! There doesn't need to be something "wrong" with you (just like you dont just go to the gym if you have pain in your body). MST is used by athletes across all levels (grassroots to professional) in all different sport settings. In fact most pro teams have MPC’s / Sport Psychologists on staff now. MST is also used by performers, first responders and surgeons.
